Charles Fishman

One of America's most celebrated investigative journalists, Charles Fishman specializes in business innovation and social responsibility. He has reported, with striking authority, on everything from Walmart to the new water economy. In researching his book, The Big Thirst, Fishman stood at the bottom of a half-million-gallon sewage tank, sampled water directly from the springs in San Pellegrino, Italy and carried water on his head for 3 km with a group of Indian villagers.
